2018 DE Dwayne Boyles commits to USF

The Bulls locked up another pass rusher on Sunday, when 2018 Miami Central (Fla.) defensive end Dwayne Boyles announced his commitment to USF on Twitter.

Boyles (6'3 230) committed to the coaching staff on a Saturday and announced on Twitter on Sunday after getting to workout out and learn from the USF coaches.

" It came down to family, my cousins Sidney Simpson played corner here. I like the place and it's perfect for me." Boyles said.

Boyles admitted that it had been a long time coming on making his commitment official, as he knew for some time where he wanted to be.

"Coach Cogdell has a great relationship with me, he's taught me a lot. Since they offered me I knew I wanted to be here, they showed a lot of attention."

Boyles is not rated by the 247 Composite rankings but is considered one of the up and coming pass rushers in the Dade county area.

Hope he hits another lil growth spurt and maybe thats what coaches are seeing now this summer.  Shows a lot of grit and instincts in his hudl even though hes small for a DE and not quite fast enough to be a true LB.  Def a hybrid at this point.

He is performing well on the field and as a result is gaining more attention.

He just took an official visit to Colorado State. He says he also plans to officially visit Kentucky, USF, UCF and UMass at dates to be determined.
