20. South Florida Bulls

Coach Jose Fernandez returns nearly his entire core, and the Bulls are loaded with experience. That includes Laura Ferreira, who averaged nearly 10 points per game in 2015-16, only to miss most of last season with foot problems. Kitija Laksa and Maria Jespersen remain the primary offensive weapons.

Does anyone know whether Laura is healthy enough to play considerable minutes this season?

Looking forward to seeing the official release on the OOC schedule:

Hearing the @USFWBB sked could be released today. Also hear it includes chance for some BIG-TIME matchups in early-season tourney play.

I was looking at the USF WBB roster for 2017-18.

http://www.gousfbulls.com/roster.aspx?path=wbball

Senior, N. DeJesus is not listed. Does anyone know if she is off the team?

The two incoming international players, Alba Prieto and Silvia Serrat are missing as well. I presume that is because they are currently playing together with the U18 Spanish team.

Incoming USF WBB players Alba Prieto and Silvia Serrat are on the roster for Spain at the  FIBA U18 Women's European Championship 2017.

They start group play tomorrow against Sweden.

Serrat is coming off a recent injury which kept her from playing on the U19F team. So, I don't know if she will play tomorrow.

You Tube says the U18 Spain-Serbia game will start in 3 hours, if anybody wants to watch it live. It can also be viewed later on replay.

I'm a bit surprised that USF WBB on twitter hasn't acknowledged how well our two incoming players did yesterday. By contrast, the USF MBB twitter account mentioned Alexis Yetna's performance when he played for the U18 French team.

I'm just glad that Silvia Serrat appears to be healthy once again. I presume she only played 10 minutes yesterday as a precautionary measure.
