Once was in 1985 versus Miami when we used to play them pretty often. The other time was this season, when we dominated the Gators in May. Kind of a strange stat, but I'm still trying to get over the Regionals still!

They did have a good season but we need to move on before we think too much and realize that beating the gators may have been the fluke!

Except that we should have beaten the Gators in the Regional as well. We had a ton of chances with RISP and failed to capitalize. Our team was good enough, if we were hot at the right time, to compete with and beat any team in the nation. Look at Coastal Carolina last season. They had a good squad, but they also got insanely hot at the right time. One season later, they fail to even qualify for the tournament.

National championships in football, basketball, and baseball within the last decade. The last program to accomplish such a feat? None. All hail the University of Florida Gators. 1

USF has been playing for 51 years. We have 54 years to match them. Let's do it. Go Bulls!
