Likely from the Too Early to Tell category of off season musings, I was looking at the Spring roster and was reminded that it listed DJ as our starting RB as well as our PR and KR.  Naturally, it means nothing. But I highly doubt that DJ, while capable enough to return kicks and punts for both teams in any game, will be our returner.  Who does that job likely go to, or is it simply too early?

Who actually returned for the two sides in the Spring game?  I'll probably watch it again if the link is still active.  I don't remember.  Any ideas on who will take these roles?  Tyre and Tajee?  Someone else like one of the younger RBs or WRs?

Chauncey Smart may very well be our Kick/PR returner...

DeAngelo Antoine is a possible choice, he's a burner. Fullwood is listed as the backup and may get some reps too. Don't count out true freshman Chauncey Smart. Dude is faaaaaast. If he can catch he may make some noise. My money's on Antoine though.

You are the first person to utter doubt and DJ in the same sentence.

The fact that Wilcox is all conference TE means our conference has some pretty trash TEs. Don't get me wrong, he has potential, but he has serious fumbling issues that he has to sort out before he's best of anything imo

I think Antoine, Fullwood, and McCants all get a look.

I agree.  He has that type of speed that will be hard to redshirt.  There are likely no teams on our schedule with someone as fast as Smart.  He gets a small opening and he's gone.

Barr is fast, I would give him a shot.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
