Really hope that we have at least 30k in the seats for the ESPN games against illinois and temple. Student turnout needs to be much better then last year.

I know that most on here probably already do so, but it bears repeating....always try and get a casual fan to show up for a USF game. I do whatever I can to get any co-worker or friend that shows even a remote interest in USF football to a game. With the exciting product that should be on display at Ray Jay, you could convert a casual fan into a true fan!

Our soft schedule can be overcome with our offense scoring a lot of points, which will make for entertaining football. We need to play good defense, though. The Heisman talk will make it fun.

Bandwagoners want to feel good and to be entertained, so we need to win by big margins at home.

Always has been and always will be. Weather has no effect on a real fan of any sport in any town.

But we're not talking about real fans here. It's trying to get the ones that don't go to games because of all the other excuses that are out there.

The famous 2007 Friday night game against WVU is a great example of a night that brought out a ton of the bandwagon fans.  Not sure we would have had that many if it were a day game in early September.

We need bandwagoners and their money. In the interim, we need to keep churning out more die-hard alumni that will attend games no matter when our games are scheduled and who we're playing against. Convert the fair-weather to fervent Bulls with a great game day experience.

Big margins are always a crowd-pleaser.

Well, we do have at least 3 night games at home.

Wrong scapegoat. The students are decent to mediocre at turning out consistently. The rest of the attendance is the issue.

Multiple games the 200 level was completely empty including fsu and ucf. Not to mention the band now sits in the student section. Agreed the rest of attendance is also an issue.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
