I know that we have some decent programs on our current future schedules, but just saw that UConn locked up an away game at Clemson and will get 1.2 mill out of it as well. If you are Harlan when do you start reaching out to big named P5 schools for something similar?

Does anyone know if over the next five years we need to add non conference games? I suspect there are a few. Yes, Mark you are in the clock.

It's frustrating that we have potentially our best team ever this year and even if we go undefeated, we will probably not break top 10 due to the weak schedule. Let's load that sucker up and inject some excitement into the program.

So Clemson schedules a cupcake home game and you think Harlan's not working to get better OOC games?

I can hear the AD's now, "Hey! Let's pay that top 10 USF squad to come in here and quite possibly ruin our season! I think our boosters and fan base would love that, right?"

Where did I ever say that Harlan is not working to get better OOC games? I am only criticizing the quality of OOC games that he has gotten thus far. After killing it in his first year with series against BYU, GT, and Texas he has then only signed up future games against teams like Central Michigan, FAU, NIU, San Jose State, and UMass. Yes, I understand you can't schedule every game with teams of that type of quality all the time, but you have to have some sort of balance. Personally, I don't see the benefit in scheduling these teams when they zero benefit to us. If we are only going to schedule other G5 teams, at least have them against some quality.

I think the following quote is a good indicator of your implication of that very notion:

If you don't think he's started, then it stands to reason you think he is not working on it yet.  Simple logic of your own statements.

I'm guessing he's working it as best that anyone could under the circumstances.
