Every time I see this title move back up in the boards, I keep seeing "Super Bowl Early Projections" and lose interest. I feel more interested about early bowl projections for us, but only by a frog's hair. It's a long season.

He's true you know. Every single FBS team had at least one night of failure last season. Just can't shake the fact that playing any conference team away is difficult.

Say, do you think Coach Strong and his staff have a lot of influence on the team's attention and ranking (national press and other coaches' opinions) thus far?

I wonder if we would be ranked going into next season if USF had hired an unknown coach (like Arch Stanton).

Yes I honestly do. But there would still plenty of off-season attention with Q at the helm. Folks have finally caught up to the fact that he's a special athlete.
