What's the story Tampans?

The Rays play two games in one day with fake retro uniforms, in the same multi-purpose facility and it's somehow a treasure?  Even Tom Jones is excited?

Toad was amped, too, I believe. Looked like it was pretty cool, honestly, and treasure probably because of its' rarity ... and the players whining about it put a little more emhasis on the publicity.

LOL... the players.

As I wrote my post, I couldn't help but think as everyone else was gleeful about this spectacle, I know the players union and players would moan about the overtime.

Don't know if it was the Jones column, or one of the other local articles I read this morning, where they were talking about the "old days" when they could have doubleheaders on back to back days ..... ******* today.

Well it's also the era where everyone is too busy with Facebook and Twitter and games "take waaaaaaay toooooooooooo long, (wah)!.  :wahhing:

Why in the hell would you play two, from a marketing perspective....

If they had foreseen the length that a lot of the Rays games have gone to this year they probably would have foregone the doubleheader.

The player I personally know on the Rays roster doesn't care. A doubleheader today means a day off later on down the road.
