TAMPA, MAY 11, 2017 – Due to inclement weather expected in the New England area on Sunday, USF and UConn will now play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. and the series finale will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

All three games can be heard on AM 1040 and watched on UConnHuskies.com.

Always love some morning baseball to make a Friday go by quicker, but can't help thinking this is a bad thing for winning the series. It's extremely difficult to win two in one day; especially if you use a ton of pitchers.

UCONN swept USF in Tampa last year. They also beat USF in the conference tourney.

It would be sweet to turn the tables on them.

They will be pumped to beat us...we really need to bring our A game.  No letdowns after the big UF win.  A conference title is in the balance here, forget regionals for now.

Agreed. Game one is a big one in terms of winning the series. Don't want to be in the position of having to go all out in game two
