Kofi Amichia had a feeling he'd end up in Green Bay

Excerpt:

“I expected them to call me, but I didn’t expect it to be this soon,” Amichia said moments after the Packers drafted him in the sixth round, with pick No. 212 overall on Saturday.

A two-year starter at left tackle for South Florida, Amichia projects as a guard in the NFL. Most of his pre-draft workouts focused on guard, as did his one in Green Bay.

That workout went well enough that Amichia figured the Packers would consider him as an undrafted free agent at a minimum. The unexpected change of plans was welcome."

I hope so - we have not had many offensive linemen that have done well in the NFL

Frank Davis played a few seasons and Marc Dile scratched out some games with the Bucs - Reiter seems to be hanging in and Jeremiah Warren bounced around a little.

Darrell Williams is still playing for the Rams.  I mean I think Kofi is better than those guys.  This guy has an athleticism none of those past guys had.  He also was a really good left tackle though guard  or center is likely his best position.  Guys like him stick around.  I've seen it so many times before, it's the only reason I think he's going to have a good career.  I also think a long one.
