Does anybody know why USF has such a stringent licensing policy? I've been to several arts and crafts festivals and get the same answer almost every time.

"I can't get approved to do USF"

I saw one this weekend that had almost every AAC school except USF - same answer. Two different merchants had  ECU, FAU, Tulsa, FIU, UCF, UF, FSU, etc. - same answer, "I can't get approved."

Give me a cut of the "moneys," and Rocky D. Bull will approve himself.

I believe it has something to do with our Under Armour agreement.

You may be right. I'm surprised to see only 20 schools listed on their site.

And here's a complete list of offerings by UA for the casual fan...https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/south-florida/g/318z?offset=&stackId=&stackIdx=&lsg=53c95753-073e-4ad2-8146-c6ba8407d978

I'm sure the exposure from one frigging shirt is overwhelming...

I want to say that with Under Armour they own all licensing rights for their schools too. There are some bigger companies that also produce licensed apparel for USF but those are mainly on the national level and cost a pretty penny. It's been a few years since I worked in the apparel industry(2010 or so) but that's my understanding of our agreement. Small mom and pop operations would not benefit from purchasing licensing rights as its too small of a scale thus why you can't find them at craft fairs.

Non apparel items should be much be much easier to find and at a better price point for the licenses though.

100% agree, but they're not. One was like a small wall pendant / banner, the other was a spinning wind chime that had different motions. BOTH said the license wasn't worth the trouble.

About as much of a clue as you, possibly slightly more. I actually acknowledged money being the hang-up.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
