Love what Strong said regarding our fan base. Our fans need to step up and show out at our games. Big time football requires big time fans.

I'm a little paranoid the offense has taken a major step back. I saw it the way the reporter did who called it "vanilla".

I'm not... I don't think any coach will put in everything and show it in a spring game.  This game pretty much looked like a spring game should... better than the last few to be honest.  I would expect the offense to be "vanilla"... I'd be more worried if it weren't, I'd question any coach that showed his full hand in a spring game.  He was just giving coach talk.

I think we'll be fine, though I understand the concern. The "A" team was split up, hits are more careful (in general), and the playbook is definitely as basic as we'll see. Essentially the spring game is yard-ball with a bunch of ringers.

So Taggart's not a big time head coach?

I speak smazza-ese.  Taggart wasn't one when he got here.  He made his name during his 4 year stay in Tampa.

Strong comes into Tampa a proven winner (albeit with a rough stop at Austin, TX most recently).
