In March, the North Carolina legislature passed a measure that repealed House Bill 2. As a result, the ACC said the football championship game would return to Charlotte, North Carolina, and all other neutral-site championships that had existing contracts would return as well, beginning with the 2017-18 calendar.

Right, this is a way of the NC legislature saying "we can pass whatever bills we want, and if you ever boycott again, we will force state schools out of the ACC". Of course they are just posturing, it's stupid. Guess these folks in the NC legislature have nothing more important to worry about than what is in peoples' pants.

The difference Trip is the election process is set and the electoral college is the way we operate. Doesn't take a majority of popular vote.

Somewhere over the last decade or so we've lost our understanding of majority rules.  When I find myself in the minority on an issue I accept it.  While I may not be happy about it, majority rules.

Today for lunch is a great example.  I'm at Applebees for lunch.  I'm in the minority today, so I eat Applebees.  No protest, I'm going back to work after without breaking anything or throwing stuff.

Go Bulls!

100% agree. I just see a huge pissing match between the NC legislature and the NCAA and ESPN. But, with that, haven't they already kissed and made up?

They're not allowed to kiss and make up in NC since the legislature, NCAA, and ESPN are all men.
