I disagree. If WMU had somehow made it into the group of 4, there'd be a ton of ******** about THAT. But, I don't think anyone would be complaining if they beat Alabama in the first game and Clemson in the second to win it all.

What JTrue said.  Think about when Baylor played UCF in the BCS bowl game ... Baylor pissed and moaned about it, but all that went away when Baylor lost the game.  If we somehow beat the infinitesimal odds and ended up winning in the playoff, I guarantee no one would complain about our victory.  That's sort of what winning a game does.
