Correct.

Notice that I never said no to the $25m but you did so no to the peanuts.

The world is built, one peanut at a time.

:D

I think if  Navy became an all-sports member a lot more people would visit Annapolis for games, and vice versa. Football is great, but it's not for everyone, and having some big name opponents to play will help Navy get better.

Is Navy banging down the door to bring all sports to the AAC? If so we have a discussion; if they don't, then the conference needs to move forward with expansion in a new way.

I know we don't want to create the debacle that was the Big East, but I think it would make sense for Wichita to join as non-football and then add Air Force and Army as football only.  That would create a higher profile conference with 14 football schools and 12 olympic sports schools.  Hopefully, the TV money and revenues would increase given that conference and footprint.

Wait a moment ... not so fast ..... What Tulane lacks in athletic competitiveness they make up for in city "charms" ...... I've been waiting 21 years for a football roadie to New Orleans, don't take that from me. (and we need a rivalry series with UNLV too)

The problem for the AAC in adding Army is that the Army-Navy game is a week AFTER the Conference Championship Game.

I don't think Army will ever be added as a football member.

Why not? They bring a national audience and a degree of personal and professional respect for their students that none of our current or future members could ever bring. Not to mention the increased alumni support they would immediately bring to the entire conference.
