There will never be another The Greenery as far as I'm concerned.

I enjoyed living in UTA and stumbling in and out of that place on the regular.

The Greenery was a total hole, but it was as close to a  "USF bar" that I could remember. It was definitely around during my undergrad years (97ish).

Coppertop is a USF bar. They even have a green and gold room.

Hit Show Mes last night.  First things first, the entrance sucks, no direct entrance from the main road (you have to go via a hotel entrance).  No signs either so if you miss it you got to go turn around and re enter.  Second, closing time at 11 PM during the week is pretty early around a college especially for a sports bar.  Girl bartending was pretty hot, but a bit clueless.  Weird setup inside but alot of TVs so it probably would be a good place to watch a game.

I've been told I had some good times at the Greenery.  But really, it was a sad day when that place closed it's doors.

I've never been in it, but when I passed it it looked like a free-standing building with an entrance from the parking lot on N 30th.

He's talking about no direct entrance to their parking lot off of 30th St. Have to turn in at the drive to go back to the hotel and then turn into ShowMe's parking lot from there.

I need to learn how to do that ... but thanks for showing what he was talking about ... except there is a big ol sign out front that you shouldn't be able to miss  (assuming it's still there)

Anyone remember Morgan's Pub on Fletcher just east of 15th?  They had one of the portable signs with lights on top with removable lettering.  It seemed someone was always changing "Morgan's" to "0rgasm"
