I agree with this but there's a good chance that Harlan worked some back channels and was getting very negative responses.  I would think a coach on the rise would probably avoid our dumpster fire as it could torpedo their career.  I still think you have to wait until the tourney and make them say "thanks but no thanks" but maybe Harlan doesn't like those optics for the department....

Definitely walking into a dumpster fire situation. Who knows how many players will stick around for Brian Gregory?

I know this thread is for basketball, but FGCU just beat new #1 FSU 5-2. They have now beaten #2 UF twice, and #1 FSU. The game @ FGCU on March 22nd is going to be a HUGE test for our BaseBulls!
