TAMPA, FEB. 22, 2017 – The University of South Florida men’s basketball team will finish the 2017 portion of the conference road slate with a midweek contest at Tulsa on Thursday evening.

Three Bulls posted double figure points in the team’s last game at Tulane (2/18). Junior guard Geno Thorpe (Pittsburgh) tallied a team-high 22 points as redshirt freshman forward Tulio Da Silva (Brazil) added 17 points and sophomore forward Luis Santos (Bronx, N.Y.) registered a career-high 16 points.

Thorpe is averaging 20 points per game over the last five contests for USF.

The Opponent

Junior Etou ranks first on the team in points (12.6) and rebounds (7.0) per game.

The Golden Hurricane have won all four meetings in the series with USF. The teams last met in the Sun Dome on Jan. 17. Junior center Ruben Guerrero (Spain) recorded a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds in the game.

Fouls and injuries and bad shot selection will kill us late. Do we have the legs to stay with them?

Went from tied to down-6 already with 12 to go
