Sorry, but this needed its own thread.  Always great to beat FSU.  Always great to beat a Top 5 team...BUT when you beat a Top 5 FSU team....it don't get much better than this.  This is the biggest win I can remember following USF baseball.  Maybe others can think of another one, but for regular season wins this might be the tops.  Also add in that we hadn' beaten them since 1989.

 

Oh so sweet!

I'm not sure people were saying we had no shot.  Some of us said that it wasn't worth disrupting your rotation for one game. And, as it turned out, there was no need to.

This game was incred-I-BULL! The team never backed down when they couldn't get anything going against a dealing Karp. For the second time in four games they come from behind in the 9th to win it. Great plate discipline in the ninth and timely pitching. This team has the potential to be real special.

Watched the first four innings then had to step away for a dinner meeting. What a great win for the program. This could be a really special year as our pitching is very good.
