I still think we're a little raw this year and young. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we make the tourney this year, but I think we'll be close. I'll be disappointed if we don't make it in 2018-2019 and go on a little run.

Wow, what a dropoff from the starter to the relievers...

Gallagher, 8-3 with a 2.57 ERA last season, retired 14 Bulls in a row before allowing a leadoff walk to Villar to open the eighth inning. Gallagher exited after the walk; relievers Zach Daniels and Josh Martsching combined to allow eight of the runs in two-thirds of an inning.

Really nice crowd last night. A lot of Iowa fans showed up. Guess they are happy to leave the cold of Iowa. The game today was moved up to noon in anticipation of rain in the evening.
