Are you going to get Steve to represent you in that brain injury lawsuit against Leavitt and USF when you played?

Done. What happened to the old 210-913-xxxx number? Left it at the old job?

They weren't happy when I abandoned the Titanic. They kept my number. My goal is to run them out of business so I can get my number back one day.

Again that is strange as we seem to protected from advertising on this board. I assume there are no paid ads in the mad cow? I have never been to it because of the password requirement.

Really? Wow! Could have sworn you'd been there. You should be. It's a fun place to toss around ideas.

Main reason it's PW'd is that many of the topics are of the **** variety, there's a few choice insults and 4-letter words (though MUCH less than previously), and the occasional risque photo (almost non-existent these days)

Google adwords spider'd the site a while back, and Brad got put on the "do not advertise" list, so he PW'd the MC and got his mojo back

Blues Image is the band. Ride Captain Ride is the song. Just wondering if those lyrics are about an event that actually happened. Never got a solid answer on that. Thought somebody here might have a clue since they were from the area.

Wikipedia says no

The song was inspired by the number of keys on Pinera's Rhodes piano. Pinera said, "Okay, I need a first word. And what came into my head was '73.' I liked the rhythm, and I went, '73 men sailed up, from the San Francisco Bay.' ... The song sort of just wrote itself from there."[1]

Don't know how on Earth I missed that. I've looked it up in the past, and the most prevalent answer was the USA Pueblo. Wonder when that info was added to Wiki. Also heard it was about Sir Francis Drake, or that it was a metaphysical trip induced by the substance of the day.

Char probably just made it up and edited the wiki page before he posted it here :D

Wiki is always the first place I look, but it's been awhile since I checked wiki. I thought I remembered that site only giving really basic info on that song, and nobody else seemed to know either.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
