Does he need to see more than 50 plays?

  1. Mack off tackle L
  2. Mack off tackle R
  3. 5 WR QF keep
  4. PA Go Route
  5. Jet sweep
  6. Bubble screen
  7. TE cross

Half of those plays end with a QF scramble or short outlet to the RB. It wasn't that sophisticated.

No doubt. Utilized speed very effectively.

Granted, QF making the right read on the option was a big part of the run game.

I love the fact that even though you may know what we're going to do, that you can't stop it.

QF is magical!

Could be having to secure housing, worrying about getting kids in school, learning the culture at usf, etc. I suspect he will be looking at all this soon as the first spring practice starts. Of course he could have just lied so as not to tip his hat to any changes.

isnt he married?

the wife or girlfriend needs to handle domestic issues

I find it ridiculous that he, allegedly, hasn't seen more film. This is his full time job. People make this move all the time, and manage to do their day job. Not evaluating what worked, and what didn't, in a top 5 offense is just lazy, arrogant, and stupid.

Not sure I like the fact that he has only seen less than 50 plays of the 2016 season. I know the systems are different but there are plenty of returners to make that film worth watching.

Might thoughts exactly.

How hasn't he watched his NEW team play a least a full game in replay by now? Seems a bit apathetic.

I don't think you get hired to be the OC at Texas if you don't know what you're doing. It couldn't possibly be this guy is actually just working on different things or his own timeline or his to do list is ordered differently. All the pro analysts on this board obviously nailed it right on the head, the guys incompetent without even coaching one game. You would think this board is filled with Fortune 500 CEOs with how adamant everyone is on how to run a program

Holtz was called out. We sure were wrong there too, right? I don't know that being OC at a team that failed to reach a winning record is a huge feather in his cap either.

My speculation: he's going to run his offense without a care for what the previous regime did. That's not invalid, he still should just come out and say he's going to run the offense the way he wants and sees fit without taking into account the previous approach; considering it was a top 5 approach.
