Not sure I like the fact that he has only seen less than 50 plays of the 2016 season. I know the systems are different but there are plenty of returners to make that film worth watching.

Could be having to secure housing, worrying about getting kids in school, learning the culture at usf, etc. I suspect he will be looking at all this soon as the first spring practice starts. Of course he could have just lied so as not to tip his hat to any changes.

I think he is lying lol I think they plan on trying to surprise people this year, so they are staying tight lipped.

I'm hoping he lied. He was named OC in early Jan. and most likely knew well before then. Plenty of time to work out the life stuff while prepare for the next season, which would include watching more than one games worth of film. Especially with a special QB coming back that you would want to integrate into your system not change.

He did say that was not enough but it was enough to show that there are elements that he likes. I would expect this years offense to have some new stuff and some of the old stuff as they mix up the playbook more. There were times last year when it seemed like we were running the same plays over ans over again. I suspect the playbook will be a lot bigger this year.

Exactly, which is why having an expert on the Baylor spread runningthe offense may be a great thing for QF; we could be better! He mentioned that he wanted to get into spring I see the types of players he has; sounds like he would adapt. Also sounds like he's being tight lipped; which seems to be the CCS way. Of course he knows who the stars on offense are.
