NO because they're too rural -they don't fit the AAC profile

Charlotte works

Don't need Rice, we already have Houston market with UH

Army works. Would like to see them and Navy in for all sports.

Old Dominion isn't rural, that is a pretty good metropolitian area.

There aren't many good choices out there. Maybe Northern Illinois, but they would be isolated.

I used to live in Arlington. It's not just a question of raw population numbers - Richmond is rural, Virginia Beach even more so. Ever count the number of pickup trucks passing the other direction with tobacco stains on the windows?

All of the schools you listed do nothing. If Army says no then we should stay at 11 and get rid of East and west divisions altogether. The options on the east coast are terrible.

Population does not matter if no watches or cares about the school...hell you can see that with USF

What about Nova? They have built a pretty good 1-AA football team and I would love to add their basketball programs; its close enough to Philly to be a travel partner for Temple in the Olympic sports. Plus Big East takes one of ours we take one of theirs...

That is going backwards. Not having a CCG is worse than not having an OCS. Wow!!

One of my remote coworkers lives in VA beach. She's five hours from DC, probably five from Charlotte too. When she flies down here she has to connect through Atlanta on Delta. She is also an ODU alumna.

There's just no way to make ODU work, distances that short shouldn't require a connection flight.

Uhh...you can still have a championship game. This is still a better alternative than those dog programs being mentioned. ODU? Arkansas State? Southern Miss? Georgia State? LMAO

In the end I guess it will not matter uconn is not going anywhere.

Marta buses, but not the train.  This was a major flaw for Braves games/Turner Field

I did it a few times. It was super easy and connected to the train.
