Would like to see them and Navy in for all sports. Old Dominion isn't rural, that is a pretty good metropolitian area. There aren't many good choices out there. Maybe Northern Illinois, but they would be isolated.

It's not just a question of raw population numbers - Richmond is rural, Virginia Beach even more so. Ever count the number of pickup trucks passing the other direction with tobacco stains on the windows?

If Army says no then we should stay at 11 and get rid of East and west divisions altogether. The options on the east coast are terrible.

They have built a pretty good 1-AA football team and I would love to add their basketball programs; its close enough to Philly to be a travel partner for Temple in the Olympic sports. Plus Big East takes one of ours we take one of theirs... Edited February 16, 2017 by 206BULL

She's five hours from DC, probably five from Charlotte too. When she flies down here she has to connect through Atlanta on Delta. She is also an ODU alumna. There's just no way to make ODU work, distances that short shouldn't require a connection flight.

Southern Miss? Georgia State? LMAO In the end I guess it will not matter uconn is not going anywhere. This was a major flaw for Braves games/Turner Field I did it a few times. It was super easy and connected to the train.
