Annual Spring Game returns to Corbett Stadium for fourth straight season

Saturday doubleheader of action with USF Baseball playing at 1

TAMPA, FEB. 14, 2017 – A USF football team that appears in nearly every early preseason Top 25 ranking and returns 16 starters from a bowl game victory over South Carolina, will return to the field for the annual USF Spring Game on Saturday, April 15.

For the fourth straight year the Spring Game, which has drawn capacity crowds the past two years, will be played at Corbett Stadium on the USF campus and will be free to the public. The Spring Game will kick off at 4 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the USF/IMG radio network (820 AM in Tampa). A large crowd is expected for the 2017 game and fans are encouraged to bring blankets and utilize seating areas on the grass berms surrounding the playing surface.

The football game will be part of a doubleheader of USF Athletics action on campus that day. The Bulls baseball team will take on Cincinnati at 1 p.m. in American Athletic Conference action at Red McEwen Field.

A Fan Zone featuring inflatables, music and food will be held prior to the start of the Spring Game.

USF will begin spring practice under first-year USF head coach Charlie Strong on March 6 at the Morsani Football Practice Complex. The Bulls will get three practices in before the University’s spring break, which runs March 12-18. USF will return for the final 12 of 15 spring practices starting on March 21. USF Pro Day will also be held on the afternoon of March 21 at the Morsani Practice Complex.

None of #USF's spring practice sessions will be open to the public this year. However, as usual, the spring game is free.
