Without the officiating you lost. You have 1 player

And a near Tampa area  native. All it takes is one good player many Knights.

War on I-4 score, USF -9.

Well no, I live in Naples, and I have a job.

Dude, first loss  vs. UCF  since 1980, calm down.

I was there and the refs, although they missed some calls, weren't the reason we lost. Our lack of athleticism and bench is starting to show. Their #22, at least tonight, looks like the 2nd coming of Courtney Williams.  She drove to her right and just jumped over Ari to get off her shot.  When we played zone we seem to have more success vs her.  #23 for them drove right past our entire squad on a few occasions.

You just don't see our women beating anyone off the dribble.  Even when we had inside position on rebounds they out jumped us.  All credit to their coach and the effort their team made.  Had we shot a decent percentage from the field or the line it probably would have been a different outcome.  But we've been showing that we just aren't a good shooting team. There is the occasional game when we are hot but most times we are not.

Henshaw made some kind of miraculous recovery. When they carried her off the court I thought she was done for the season. You could hear her crying from across the floor when she went down. Felt horrible for her. And then, before the 1st half ended, she came back to the bench telling CJF that she was ready to go.

It'll be a one and done tourney this season. Oh well... Courtney Williams was legit. You don't recover from losing a player like her.

The old tired blame it on the refs excuse, eh!

o please, watch the replay, i think it was on ESPN- in the first quarter, they were riding on Ari's back, but hey no foul.  hooking all night, hey no call. knock the ball out of bounds and you get it back, dribble down the floor jump up and have both feet off the floor, land on both feet and dribble, what the he%$ was that,

we were there, were you??

at least we'll be going to the NCAA tourney while ucif prays for a NIT berth. Even if we lost, Tamara Henshaw was the MVP for her impressive toughness. We need to recruit more physical players like her.

Just getting back from the game; the team was outplayed tonight; UCF exploited the USF's inability to play against a physical team, and knocked them around for 3 quarters. They got offensive boards, drew fouls, forced ridiculous turnovers, and did everything right tonight.

Suddenly, the Temple game becomes massive; lose that one, and they're looking at a 20-6 record with 3 sub-100 losses (1 at home), 1 win against a top 25 team and 3 wins against the top 50; is that the resume of a team that earns an NCAA bid?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
