Willie T was always a snake in the grass.  I'm glad he helped rebuild USF and thank him for that, but you could always tell he was a snake.

Would be interesting to get his take on all 4 coaches. I suspect Leavitt had a good rapport with the local HS coaches.

Someone asked why you involve the coach? Sometimes these guys see things that don't get hype and recruiting attention. Did CJL know that selvie would be a beast, or, did his coach tell Leavitt to take a look at him because his insane raw ability was being wasted at center in high school?

Leavitt got a lot of great under the radar guys, those HS coaches can help identify some of them.

Didn't we get more Bay area players during the CWT regime than the previous regime?

In Selvies specific case I think an opposing coach gave Leavitt the info. Still the point on building relationships stands.

So the same coach that played Selvie at Center told him to have him play DE?  If so why wouldn't the HS Coach move him to DE in the first place?

Yea I'm pretty sure it was an opposing coach as well.

With all the area hs coaches hating on him ... remarkable. Kind of agree with what someone said that CCS is probably more old school, maybe kissing the hs coaches's butts more where CWT was the new, social media type, going straight to the players. Regardless, as long as CCS can continue trying to put up the wall around the bay area whatever way he can, it's all good.
