From what I understand, she played too much this year to get a medical redshirt.

So, this will be her last year on the team.

At the moment, she is having too much pain to play.

It is not expected her condition will improve enough to allow her to play in our remaining games.

Having said that, the same was thought at the start of the season and, yet, she was able to play some important minutes, off the bench, in nine games.

So it is conceivable, though highly unlikely at this point, that she might improve enough to play some down the stretch.

Ferreira is a junior and has another year of eligibility.  If she is healthy enough to play this year she will play but CJF said that is not expected.  Asked LF if she was optimistic about playing next year and she said she was.  The trainer also sounded optimistic.  But I've said all along that this type injury can end careers.  Hope that is not the case here but wouldn't be shocked.

Oh, great. For some reason, I thought she was a senior.

Hopefully, she can somehow recover enough to play at least some minutes next year.
