And it is still the jilted lover syndrome ...

Jilted lover syndrome is defined by someone not wanting to hear that "they all do it"?

I don't feel jilted, I knew he was gone before season was over. Had it bothered me, I could have started whining months ago.

I don't want Willie apologists blather because Willie doesn't matter - he's just the guy doing the taking. The point was the dynamic, in terms of schools, that will screw us.  Pretty simple.

No different than seeing Hurley's Buffalo recruits here at ASU.  If Hurley went to USF, he's not bringing Pac12 recruits with him.

That's really good.  What offended you?  The title of the thread?

Nobody here is offended but your concern is appreciated.

So, you're usually rational. Look past the title (which is true, and yes everyone does it, except in a situation like ours) and see I was saying USF will not be able to replace those now-Oregon recruits with previous Texas recruits.

You chose to see something else, even though I asked not too. You weren't alone.  Had some good hair trigger backlash because Willie was named.

USF recruits will more easily go to Oregon than Texas recruits will go to USF.

Simple.

The coach not to be named is benefitting The fact they all do it may not be true in that the coach we can name, Charlie Strong, is less likely to be able to do so.

Antigua didn't bring his Kentucky  recruits with him to USF

Holtz made it a point NOT to recruit players to USF who he had received verbals from while at ECU.

I believe, that he did end up bringing in one graduate transfer from ECU, but that is somewhat different.

You know the title is important, and you intentionally chose to attack CWT in it.  And then you say ignore the title.

I guess I'm just confused about what your point might be.

The title is a true statement, is it not?  Would you prefer "taking"?  Would that have been better?  Still true.

I suppose.  But it conveys that CWT is doing something wrong, which seems to contradict the rest of what you are saying.  Not very clear your point, that's all.

Much bigger news afoot elsewhere.
