Results couldnt get worse.

Whoever they get, I hope they're prepared to bite the bullet and give them enough time.

I don't believe he should have been fired in the first place, but I don't believe in going backwards. I would vote for Bartow out of the group listed, but would prefer none of the above. Bartow - a very solid coach with a good track record. Saves money, can guide us through any NCAA issues that might be coming (would hate to spend over a million a year on a new coach then set them up for failure with sanctions). I have decided that Bartow is my pick, I say give him at least 2 more years. Offer him a 4 year contract with a cheap buy out for USF (maybe $75 k a year) . 2. Seth - he has a great gig at ESPN, we might be not able to afford him. Would he even be interested? Fans were frustrated towards the end of his time here. 3. Stan - I liked Stan, but the answer is no. You can't bring back someone you fired recently. The door has been closed. Got to move on.

I imagine he is very well paid by ESPN. Very unlikely we are interested in Seth. I like Stan Heath but he will not be rehired here. I'm not keen on Murry Bartow. I hope we hire Anthony Grant. Any coach signing here without a 5 year contract and a normal buyout would be a fool ........ or extremely confident .... or desperate.

You can see that the team has been playing with more effort and responding to him. Heck, Ruben Guerrero has been playing surprisingly well. There's no downside here. You get a coach who has a history of winning, who has some experience building programs, and has taken teams to the NCAA tournament.
