The agreement -- six years with a five-year option -- is part of the agenda for Tuesday's meeting of the Tampa Sports Authority's executive committee. The term includes a termination clause with a 24-month written notice.

With a 24 month out-clause, it's not a big deal either way. Hopefully we get a better deal this time:

We will have plenty of time for this, 24 months in fact, if notice is given to terminate the Ray Jay lease.

With the push for OCS, this is definitely a good time to negotiate lease terms (getting a cut of the $$ from concessions, etc).

Apparently there aren't any sarcasm fonts on Twitter? Can maybe see some concessions revenue but the same revenues as the Bucs ..... good one, Collin.

I think he is just saying "a" share of the revenue, not "the same" share. Anything would be an improvement at this point.

We've been getting screwed on this deal for many years, in what's supposed to be a public facility. Hope they are better situated this time around.

I sure hope we got a better deal. I get sick thinking of the Glazers getting money from USF for using a taxpayer built public stadium.

I don't read that as sarcasm. Now, in context, we aren't saying if the Bucs get $10 we get $10, but we are saying, if the Bucs get 2% of food concessions at Bucs games, we should get 2% of food concessions at USF games. Seems very reasonable to me, since it is a community stadium.
