But let's say he didn't like the job. He didn't like the city and the new life. He felt trapped. How do you get out of it? All I'm saying is it's very strange and out of character for a family man to do this right when he just moved there. It's a possibility is all I'm saying. No way you take a felony arrest to escape a contract...something that will hang on you for your career. Dumb move, by a guy who had a bright future. Well, he's certainly knee deep in it now.

The only thing dumber than getting a DUI is getting a DUI on purpose to get out of a job.

And this is 100% true. Most people aren't going to walk around bragging about a DUI. Odds are every person on this board knows multiple people charged with a DUI whether or not they know about said DUI is a different matter. Yeah just go to any mugshot website and start typing in names of co-workers, out of the year-books, etc... I was surprised to see 3 ex girlfriends pop up over like a 2 month span, all for DUI. There is a zero percent chance a functioning adult intentionally sought out a DUI. Maybe all of the factors you said led to a night of him drinking and picking up a strange piece of tail, but it is laughable to think he went looking for a DUI. Still, not the sort of thing you do on purpose to get out of a contract. Thanks for the correction.
