That's the biggest issue with so many European girls. Jose discussed it in postgame. They don't like to play physical teams. Jose called them out on it v

Very disappointing loss for sure; some bright spots: Pujols' shooting, Henshaw's interior play.

The team stands at 15-3 currently; they have at least 2 games left against Temple, and another against UConn. Unfortunately, I don't see a path to them hosting the first round other than winning out (except for UConn). If they win a 3-game series against Temple (win at home, win in the 2/3 AAC Semi-final) and win all but 1 (maybe 2) of the remaining games, they should be okay for the NCAA's, as a 7-10 seed.

The radio announcers were discussing this too. One of the reason's Laksa's off her game is that UConn and UL both pushed her around, and she doesn't like the physical play. Same for Jesperson.

Pujol, OTOH, seems to thrive on it. She pounds right through traffic and finishes. Hot-blooded, that one.

And those European ladies have taken us into the rare air where we are a perennial Top 20 Powerhouse.

I call that a win.

You need a sense of history. We lost 2 once a decade players who graduated from last year's team and we are 14-3 (I think, forgive me if I am off in the win total).

I think I am pretty happy with the results this year.

How many top 10 teams has "your perennial Top Twenty Powerhouse" beaten?

This year, none. We even lost to RPI 70 Long Beach State in Vegas

We still have a good team, better than most of our other teams (although tennis and soccer are coming along nicely)

We're not about to challenge Stanford yet for the Capital One Cup anytime soon, but we are making steady progress.

You can eat an elephant, my friend, but not in one bite!

these ladies were knocked around all afternoon.   the UL ladies are more like hockey players.

the officiating is pathetic- a tie up with the possession arrow to the Bulls- the one official put his arm around another and all of a sudden without explanation, it goes to UL
