I think Oregon's fourth string QB just scored again on the 2007 defense...

2007 without a doubt...there were moments that year when i was literally near tears at losses and bouncing off the walls with wins.  Granted I was younger...but still...those wins meant more.  Beating smu and temple just doesnt have the same feel.

Next year though...it will be the year.  We MUST WIN OUT.  Then that sets us up for GREATNESS.

GO BULLS!!!

One of my favorite websites to play with, WhatIfSports, allows you to simulate hypothetical historical matchups. According to the computer:

'07 USF - 34, '16 USF 23

Box Score: https://www.whatifsports.com/ncaafb/boxscore.asp?GameID=8441503&nomenu=1#.WHbSyinH3nA.custom&title=WhatIfSports.com: College Football Boxscore

No defense held 2016 under 30 points this season... 2007 team wouldn't either. Fun website though!

losing our bowl game to Oregon's 3rd or 4th string QB by 35 points.

Love this foolish talk.  Yeah.  We still should have beat them even with their NFLers and Jonathan Stewart - and the lack of importance. It meant nothing - the old Brut Bowl.  Glad we can always talk about it.

07 would have destroyed the 16 warm butter schedule. Would have been like playing UCF every week.

17 may impress some further.

2007  better opponents and quality wins over ranked teams.
