Do you think Bama winning NC helps the G5?

I think it might.  People hate Bama because of their dominance.  I think folks might want to see the championship with more "Cinderella" love like March Madness.  I think it would work against us if the Natty was different P5 teams every year.

Agree. Not exactly the same, but the CWS last year was one of the best in a long time because of Coastal Carolina.

It doesnt matter if its 2, 4, or 8 they are the best team. But please if you want to debate whether Florida, USC or Michigan should be in the playoff go for it.

I think Bama winning the title helps Bama and that's about it. Well maybe it helps all those swamp folk Bama beats up on all season feel better about themselves too; I mean "SEC, SEC" right?

Lots of the appeal of the CbB tournament isn't the final game, it's things like the 15 seed beating the 2 seed in the first round.  Just sayin...  Don't know what to do about the Bama stranglehold though.

Sure but thats basketball, not football. A lot of the appeal of college football is that tOSU-Michigan, Bama-Auburn, FSU-UF, is the playoff. The regular season in CFB matters more than any other sport in America.

The difference is in baseball and basketball, Cinderella teams have a legitimate shot in a tournament format.  In reality G5 schools have pretty much a zero shot for the football title.  The best we can hope for is the NY6 Bowl Game.  It would take a miracle for a G5 school to get to that game, where as a school like Ohio State can go without even winning their conference.
