Johnson, 2. Sands, 3. Tice Or 1. Sands, 2. Johnson, 3. Tice Tice is more of a 3rd down bruiser back. And DJ while a talented back whom I enjoy watching very much is nett served as a change of pace back. Look at the games Mack missed(especially in 2015) our running game outside of Q was much less productive than normal. Sands I think will be special. I'll hold off until after spring to predict yardage however. Edited January 6, 2017 by 206BULL

Good for grinding out yards with a lead, but I can't see him being any more than 3rd string

Let's brag about running it up against NIU. That's like other teams calling their RB the best because he had a big game against us...

From the practice chatter it sounds like Sands could be that guy as he has a similar skill set to MM. It would be better for the program for one of the younger guys to step up so our backfield won't be so green in 2018. I'd like to see Johnson Sands Tice/Mack (If Tice does get the extra year) Edited January 6, 2017 by Bull Dozer

We will be happy that we have him at some point. He has averaged over 5+ yards a carry in the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

Looking forward to big things from him.

I am wondering who the dynamic playmaker will be at the WR position that will pick up from where Adams left off. I think there are plenty of weapons.
