Gilbert tweets he's excited to be a Bull and get going and everyone feels better. Like I said previously , as long as these ex-Texas guys want to be here and aren't just looking for an easy paycheck while Texas is still footing the bill I'm all in. I've never quite seen a situation like this where a team is maturing with a senior QB and ready made offense with a new coaching staff. Tom Herman's first year comes to mind. I know BSU went 12-2 their first year after Peterson left, in 2014. No idea who their QB was but it was Jay Ajayi's senior year. They fell to 9-4 in 2015 with a much less experienced team.
