Bowl Game Attendance

Not sure if this has been linked anywhere, but it is interesting to see the the Birmingham bowl saw the largest decline in attendance from last year to this year.

People love to talk them some attendance. B Bowl has been all over the board with attendance.

Yeah a good Memphis team and Auburn is a win for Birmingham Bowl. 

Also, St Petersburg making the top ranked lowest fill rate list.  They need to bring back the mack: the Magical Jack (.com).

Is there going to come a point in time where we simply accept that there is not that much demand for this product? I mean, why would anyone expect, in all honesty, to see >45K people trekking to St. Pete to watch these two teams play? Are we selling the winter vacay package to the good citizens of Athens and Oktibbeha County? I think we'd be well served to just cease showing any interest in attendance and just accept the fact that thanks to our good friends at ESPN three hours worth of commercial exposure was bought and paid for. Hey...it was either that or billiards!
