You figure Dallas is out of the question since this is their year. Going off the last time the CFP rotation had the playoff games at the Rose & Sugar Bowl my guess would be the Fiesta Bowl. We'd have about 250 more than that.

They lost $1.8 million. https://www.google.com/amp/www.ctpost.com/news/amp/Report-UConn-lost-1-8-million-at-Fiesta-Bowl-1038914.php Edited January 2, 2017 by TheUpperHand

Over $100 a ticket gave value plus travel. Could we have hit 5,000? 7500? We all say we want great things but how many would have actually ponies up the $ to go to the game? Surely a possibility in the years to come. As much as I would like to be wrong I don't see us hitting 5000 at any bowl game (other than NC) where fans have to fly. If we were to get QF some real Heisman attention and he continues doing what he does maybe we could. We would need a significant increase in home game attendance before we will do really well at a travel game.

If we go undefeated and play in the Cotton, Peach, Orange, or Sugar Bowls, I think we'd bring at least as many as we brought to FSU the first time we played them. At least 5,000. Driving distance likely is the key limitation.

thatBULL Posted January 2, 2017 Group: Member Topic Count: 37 Content Count: 406 Reputation: 82 Days Won: 0 Joined: 12/12/2003 Share Posted January 2, 2017 I think between 5,000 - 7,500 for any New Years 6 bowl that isn't in Arizona. Miami is three hours, Atlanta is 7 or a quick/cheap flight (10 min drive for me), New Orleans is a party, and Dallas flights shouldn't be horrible. Arizona would cost a bit to get to and would likely result in very few tix purchased. If somehow it was the Rose Bowl, people would go regardless for experience, but that likely would never happen. Tix to cotton we going for under $30 dollars on secondary market.
