Who Thinks Penn State Got Screwed?

Penn State had 2 losses, to Pitt, who I believe was unranked at the time, and a 49-10 blowout loss to Michigan. Ohio State had 1 loss at Penn State, who is currently the #5 team. I think they got it right with the 4 playoff teams. Ohio State, at least IMO, deserved to be there despite not winning their conference. One too many losses for Penn State.

Personally, I think you should have to win your conference to get to the playoffs.  Picking the four, "best" teams out of 120+ teams is impossible and highly subjective.

If Penn State had beaten Pitt maybe they are in...dont see then beat Clemson anyways.

Two best teams are Alabama and Clemson.

Yup...most boring bowl games all year.  So much for the argument about "lesser bowls being unwatchable".

There have been some great games this bowl season...not these 2.  Hope the NC game is better.

And, Penn State's win over OSU was a blocked FG returned for a TD with almost no time left.  So it's hard to argue PSU was better.  What also sucks (arguing the other way), is NOT playing in a conference champ game reduces your risk of slipping down the rankings.
