this is my guess.  Temple, Pitt & Nebraska lost, and they were ahead of us in at least 1 poll.  So, we'll jump them.

I don't see anyone below us with an impressive win, so I doubt we get jumped. So, likely 20-21, which is awesome.  We should start off 2017 ranked around 20, and can move up from there if we keep winning.

They do not release an CFP end of the year ranking, that rankimg is only used for the playoffs. They will release a new AP and new coaches either the wee hours after the championship game or first thing the next morning. We should be around 20 in both.

I think we'll be 19. If WMU loses, it's possible we could be the highest ranked G5 in the last poll.

It'll be a little interesting to see where they put us in relation to the P5 teams who were previously unranked at 8-4 but are now 9-4. (Miami, Tennessee, K State, Minnesota). All had pretty solid wins and I wouldn't put it past the voters to continue the P5 bias and have a few of them jump us.

I'm in agreement with the likely 17-19 range as a final ranking. I'll take it.  Goal accomplished.   Now lets go 13-1 next year with a AAC championship and major bowl victory (as G5 representative...don't know what bowl that may be next year).
