My KSU buddy thinks Dana Dimel is the heir apparent there.  He is the OC and is part of the famly tree like Leavitt.

A few other names are also possibilities.

Other than his son Sean, who many feel is not ready, Phil Bennett,Brent Venables, Jim Leavitt, Mike Stoops, Dana Dimel seen as psbl scssrs

Leavitt just arrived in Kansas.

Jim Leavitt just seen at Manhattan Municipal Airport.

Would take that with a grain of salt. The guy who posted that is a UW fan. It would kinda be like a UCiFer posting that Coach Strong was just seen in Athens after being linked to the UGA job. Not saying it isn't true but it could just be a way of poking at the Oregon fan base.

You make a good point.

Still. it certainly would not be surprising to see him take a trip there to see his old mentor.

I know that they are very close, so it is reasonable that he is there to wish him well and offer encouragement.
