Meanwhile our next head coach just got a promotion..

#Tennessee names former #Miami interim HC Larry Scott as #Vols new OC & Mike Canales as QB coach.

If he does not coach our team one day something is wrong with this world.

Congrats to Coach Scott! Butch Jones felt the pressure that his name is floating around as an up and comer so he needed to sweeten his role. Would absolutely love to see him come back home. Blackwell too.

Love that Coach Scott is getting this well deserved opportunity. It's great experience for one day coming home if the situation arrises.

Really happy for Coach Scott as everyone's knock on him here when his name was brought up was he'd never been an OC before; scratch that excuse off the list and hope his next step up is our HC position when Strong leaves in a few years. Also congrats to Chico; good to see him back at a big boy school.

Yep, I can see him as the USF coach one day.

As long as Strong stays at least 2-3 years and Scott has that much experience under his belt, I bet he's the next one.

And bring mike canales with him.  Wasn't he our offensive coordinator when we beat FSU?

Just my opinion, but we beat FSU because we knocked them on their ass every chance we got. NOT this two hand touch hope they drop the ball BS we've been running.

I thought we won cause we demanded excellence!

We won the game that day because BJ Daniels was the best athlete on the field that day, plus our receivers held on to the ball and we played aggressive style defense.  I think Mike Canales developed the offensive game plan for the game
