I think most of the hires will come this weekend or have already been made and not announced

You are right; however, TJ Weist and Darren Hiller are hired guns with no connection to the bay area.  King and Reaves might be a little different as they are both natives--but then again, so was Willie T.

Who was the guy on here last year telling us there was no way Allen would ever leave because they went to the same church?

He's not saying they wouldn't leave.  He's just saying it might be different or it might not.

I know. It just made me think of this cycle after last season.

Wondering if maybe a mod can setup a thread similar to the recruiting ones that updates the coaching additions/subtractions as we learn them over the next couple weeks?

fwiw, I've heard Woodie, King, Reaves and Pimpleton at least are going to Oregon. But nothing official.

I think they either go, or they stay.  One of the two.

Seemed like he did a fine job but at the end of the day I just don't worry that much about a RB coach.  QB and OL position coaches ( of which one usually has OC duties )are what will make or break the offense

Our success at RB is mostly due to CWT.  Everywhere he's been dating back to him being a RB coach has gotten great RB production.  He's a great evaluator of developer of RB talent.

It's a no-brainer to make the jump to Oregon if offered especially if CCS hasn't given any of these guys a strong indication they will be retained.

Strong doesn't strike me as the warm and fuzzy type so if your old boss DOES want you and its not a lateral move you don't think twice.
