Well, we have our offseason thread now.  And CCS and Harlan threw a whole bottle of lighter fluid onto the fire today.  Awesome.

ECU has the largest OCS in the AAC: 50,000. Therefore I would expect our new stadium to have a capacity of 50,001.

Make Ours 52k and make sure we gotta giant student section as usually. Make it expandable to 70K.

I would not start planning what the seats are going to look like just yet. You guys know that this probably 10 years of fundraising right?

Defeating purpose of having OCS.  One of purposes of OCS is so that you CAN have big time opponents on campus in a great environment.

it has to be at LEAST 40k seats.... Less is way to small.

If this team has continued success announced will pass 40k....

Since we have been in he AAC we have had only 2 games surpass 40k announced... 

rank 15 Miami and Rank 13 FSU,

 

BUT this year we had 4 games over 35k announced, 3 if you remove FSU.

UCF is in a down year on thanksgiving was 3rd highest attendance 36,056... now pit us against UCF when we are both ranked or playing for the division. Should pass 40k easily.

The first two two games this year were 35,976 and 36,557.... 

Min announced 2016 was 30,297 (Uconn) 

 

If we Strong (lol that was autocorrect, but I will let if fly) together some seasons of making bowl games we should have attendance average in the 35-40k range. We need more than 40k to be able to sell the tickets, and for our big UCF games that will happen. 

 

If if we are ranked most years I think a 45k stadium is a good number, design for expansion to to 55k, then 65k.

And we should not want to ever play at RJS again except a bowl game. Even in a 45k stadium, I'd rather play all of our big games on campus. Bring the excitement to campus... make tickets scare through the low supply.
