There's one at Boise, and I believe North Texas. I could be wrong but I thought the Las Vegas bowl was also at UNLVs home stadium. Unsure if that's an OCS or not.

I believe most teams would love to play anywhere in Florida, not to mention a real football stadium over the trop. There's plenty of selling points to consider it plausible.

What would we do with our OCS  during the other 8 months out of the year that isn't already being done at RayJay?

the same thing FAU does with theirs...see if the Rowdies want to play a couple games there...host intramurals...see if the local HS bands want to hold competitions there...hold your annual scrimmage there...all sorts of stuff.

Great question. I can't think of any outside FAU. Curious if there are others....

Boise St...Potato Bowl is played there

Military Bowl is played at Navy's stadium in Annapolis after DC didn't come through with the RFK stadium upgrades.

that's off the top of my head

Really big revenue generators you suggest there!

It would be cool if you posted a pic of you with a potato bowl on your head!

it would be cool if USF built an OCS.

When Memphis played in the St Pete Bowl against The Bulls, they brought about 1200 peeps including their band!  Great revenue stream for local business.

I was one of them...I had a blast!

I have seen Memphis play USF twice at The Sun Dome (2-0)

I saw Paxton Lynch and Memphis play USF at Ray Jay last season (1-0)

and watched Memphis play USF in the St Pete Bowl (0-1)

so Memphis is 3-1 in the games I've attended in the Tampa Bay area...and the only one we lost was at least a bowl game, and I won't get upset about playing in a bowl.

ESPN can't get enough of bowl games in Florida...no reason USF can't host the 'Busch Gardens Bowl' or something similar.

Exactly, playing a Bowl where the Ray's play in St. Petersburg is an example.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
