So if Strong is getting 2/$10mil from Texas and is due half his salary from us if he signs, why not just sign him $5? Hell, I'll pay his USF salary for the next years and personally write that check to Texas for $2.50.

Some interesting tidbits in this article...apparently Martin came to rep Texas and make sure USF isn't low balling. Haven't read Texas contract but I wonder how much influence they can impose on the contract negotiations so that Texas doesnt lose money?

Year 1 $5, year 2 $5, year 3 $5 million...3 years $5.000001 million.
