Just seemed like a bad fit. Texas fans/boosters never seemed to get on board with him from the get go. He will be back in much more comfortable surroundings, way less pressure and he's already familiar with the conference. Remember he was the heir apparent for the UF job before he made the Texas mistake. Something that might be an annual salary of 2 million/year but along the lines of $250K/250K/3.75M/3.75M....that way if he does bolt after 2-3 years of success, USF got a coach on the cheap (only having to pay for his time here) and he can continue to screw Texas for the next 2 years.
