I'm a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, but have never seen them play live.  They play the Baltimore Ravens Sunday, at noon, and I'm toying with the idea of going for the weekend.

If anyone else is going, and suggestions on where to stay or wants to car pool to one or both games, let me know.

Not a 100%, but how often does this happen?

If you do end up going, make time to take tour of AT&T. As big a Cowboys hater as I am, it was pretty impressive. Can schedule online.

Unless you're covering the tix and plane fare...

:roflmao:

Seriously, though, hope you make it out to the SJSU game next year.

I've been to San Jose once, year ago, just out of school.  Loved it! Wanted to move there...till I saw what apartments cost. YIKES!

Might be a great road trip for us.

Below is from the Austin Alumni Group. I will be driving up from Houston Friday, just unsure time. I am clarifying exact hotel soon

"Friday:
- Drive to Dallas
- Check into hotel (see below for room block details)
- Official USF happy hour event at Barley House

Saturday:
- Official USF tailgate (more info below)
- THE GAME! (ticket info below)
- Potential USF alumni (everyone is welcome) after party at local bar

Sunday:
- Check out of hotel and drive back to ....

————————————————————
Hotel block:
Looks pretty nice and it's only half a mile from the football stadium, which is a 3 minute Uber ride or a 12 minute walk. They are able to reserve 10 rooms for us both Friday and Saturday nights at a rate of $99/night for either a king or queen bed. They are only able to hold the block of rooms until next Monday, 11/14.

Official USF Tailgate:
Time will be announced after we get an official game time. This is the official traveling tailgate, full of food and drinks. We are working to get a discounted group rate for everyone so we can participate and meet other alumni. More details to follow.

Game tickets:
Stub Hub has great tickets in our area for under $15. Section 124, Row 15 is where some people have already bought tickets. Join us in cheering on our Bulls together!

————————————————————

For now, please jump on the block of rooms and the great rate for those. If you haven't bought tickets to the game, we recommend getting those soon so we can all be in the same section."

Will anyone be there Thursday evening? Wife and I are thinking of going to Pappas Steakhouse. Supposed to be top notch.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
