It would be like a Jewish person joining a Catholic Church and not saying the, "Our Father"

Quote What if I took a stance to promote awareness for one of the many injustices still occurring in our country and was punished despite there being no rule or law against it? Clearly, John Tortorella has made a rule, so for someone to break that rule, they would have a consequence. I mean, this is basic stuff that parents teach their children. Actions have consequences. If one if his players did it NOW they'd be breaking one of his rules. JT has a point. Would be a sticky wicket.

I read a lot of history, I've not had a problem understanding it because I don't happen to be the same. Now, I didn't listen to what she had to say, so I'm not vouching for her, just pushing back on a poor argument. Anyway, it's NFL time. Colin can get some sunshine on Monday. Hopefully he'll be able to better articulate the issues.

But let me ask you a silly question- How come we never sing the THIRD verse of The Star Spangled Banner? Can you imagine, if at the Superbowl, the jumbotron put the lyrics to the THIRD verse of The Star Spangled Banner, and everyone sang it? Talk about giving a quick history lesson :-) Edited September 13, 2016 by MikePhillips
